So, I managed to finish the DLC story. It wasn’t as bad as I was expecting–only really needed to fight one thing. But yes, this entry will be all about the DLC story and a few other things. The story is only two chapters, but it still adds a lot of stuff.
As always, there will be lots of pictures! Now, we shall begin with pictures–I won’t spoil it too much!
One of the big DLC additions is the various increasements you get:
Besides the level cap increase, all your skills can go up to 20 instead of 15 and you can now get up to Creator Rank (God Rank in Europe which I feel makes more sense–you didn’t create these so it feels weird getting “Creator Rank”–being Godlike at something is an actual thing, but nobody says “you’re now the creator of this”–I mean, the closest I can think of is “Wow, you’re so good! Did you like create this?” and even then, that doesn’t make Creator Rank sound less odd) in each of your lives. To even apply for Creator Rank though, you need to hit Legend Rank and have completed every single one of that Life’s challenges. *GLARES AT MERCENARY COMBOS FOREVER*
With our new increased stats from Divinus, it was off to Origin Island!
Origin Island is very very pretty.
And we got to have fun conversations going around:
I also managed to get the last two houses!
And even decorated a bit:
I really adore the Pink Furlin:
I wish she was an ally too!
They make an adorable couple:
After more story stuff, it was off to the tower! It actually was very pretty both outside and inside.
It was quite a long journey to the top of course.
I can only imagine how bad it will be when properly doing the tower.
We also finally got to see Celestia in person!:
If there’s one thing I don’t like about the story though, we still don’t understand why she’s stuck there/never get to free her completely. She says she can go free at times, she’s obviously not dead, and there’s just a lot of questions that really bother me about the whole thing.
Regardless, that was the end of Origin Island:
There were still some fun bliss quests though.
And friendly words of advice:
We also get to talk to Celestia again anytime we go to the top of the tower:
And then we finally unlocked Lunares coins!
You earn them from special quests. 4 Silver ones can be traded in for a gold one. You can use these coins to buy special items along with tossing them in the fountain for a random item. The Life quests are more for 100+ while Pam’s quests are completely random which actually makes them very frustrating.
I did manage to get an awesome item from the fountain in the desert town…:
An Alpaca Saddle! Which lets me hire a special mount. Sadly, the special mounts can only be hired in specific towns (though, you can ride them anywhere just like your horse), but look at how cute she is T~T
Finally, I became Demi-Creator in Wizard, Mining, Woodcutting, Angler, and Cooking lives. I actually managed to get Wizard up to master. You do not get anything special beyond a few new skills and the only items you get are for reaching Hero and Legendary in each Life. You receive an outfit for Hero and a weapon/tool for Legendary:
I really love the Wizard wand–now if I could just get everything up to Creator so I can use it even in other classes.
Finally… this is definitely my favorite boss fish:
So cute T~T
