Any without one of the symbols above means I don’t know. Some dialogue may be translated from my French account.
Action Points used: 1,400-2,100. Due to how personality can change prices, it’s a bit harder to calculate.
Illustrations: 5 – You can receive either 1 or 2 per playthrough depending on the outfit– 1 if you pick the outfit for Thomas or Amanda, 2 if you pick the outfit for Devon, Roy, or Jason. You can get Jason and one of the other two. You need to pick the right choices and have at least 10 LoM with whoever you want the illustration with.
Expenses: $95 per Outfit (It is 50% off for your first playthrough though, so one will just be $47 for you)
Special Scene Cost: 120 Gems per special scene.
Outfits: 2. The first outfit with the tie is for Roy, Devon, and Jason. The second outfit with the dress is for Amanda and Thomas.
Taki Outfit: Pizza Delivery Goose
You can find Uncle Archibald in the Break Room before heading to Devon’s Office which will start the timer (you can not move once the timer starts and once it ends, you will automatically be brought into Devon’s Office) to see Devon to give him your summary. You must pick Yes, but… nevermind. Are you ok? to get the outfit.
Finally, you can check out my personal playthrough here. Please keep in mind though that my personal playthrough involves me picking the answers that best fit my character– not necessarily the right answers for the most LoM or the illustrations. If you want answers, that is what this guide is for.
The episode kicks off with Candy on the bus on her way to work. Candy is off to meet Roy and Devon at a restaurant. You’ll be there immediately upon leaving the bus as it’s in the same Shopping Distract as your office.
While waiting, someone else ends up showing up and calling out to you: Jason, the final LI and essentially considered a secret one due to apparently requiring some specific not-so-nice choices to fully get on his route.
Jason: The New Palace isn’t open in the morning. And most of all, not before next month…
• [Sweet] Hello. Are you the owner…? /
• [Rebel] (I didn’t say anything. He’ll end up leaving eventually, right?) -5
• [Energetic] Hahaha! Yes, thank you. I know. +5
After a bit more conversation and learning that Jason is the owner of Goldreamz, your rival company, Roy and Devon show up.
• [Energetic] After your little ditty when I got here, I think I believe them, Jason… +5 with Devon and Roy
• [Sweet] (I didn’t say anything. Clearly, I don’t have all the information…) -5 with Jason, / with Devon and Roy
• [Rebel] Maybe we shouldn’t play his game…? -5 with Roy and Devon, +5 with Jason
After more conversation, the owner shows up. You’ll then follow him inside. The Owner of the New Palace has decided to hire both companies to see whose idea he’ll like better for the grand opening of the restaurant.
• [Sweet] Don’t listen to him, Sir. We know very well what we’re doing. +5 with Devon
• [Energetic] Jason, maybe you can calm down with the cutting remarks? +5 with Jason
• [Rebel] Don’t mind them, Sir. I apologize, they don’t know how to behave. +5 with Devon and Roy, -5 with Jason
You’ll then make your way back outside.
Jason: I’ll apologize in advance for inflicting a defeat on you for your first mission, but it’s not personal.
• [Rebel] Don’t speak too soon, and may the best win! -5 with Devon and Roy, +5 with Jason
• [Sweet] As long as everyone follows the rules… /
• [Energetic] It is for me, now. We’re going to crush you. +5 with Devon and Roy, -5 with Jason
After some more conversing, make your way into the office. Devon gives an overview on what everyone needs to do and tells you to get ideas from everyone and compile them into a summary to see what everyone is thinking. For easy reference, I’ll be writing this from left to right, but in general:
-Amanda: Meeting Room
-Thomas: Main Room (you’ll meet him second no matter what you do unless you go somewhere nobody is, then he’s first)
-[OPTIONAL] Elenda and Brune: Break Room – If you see the other three first, you will automatically skip out on this conversation.
-Roy: Cafeteria
You can go in whatever order you want (besides Thomas who will always be the moment you get back to the main room from somewhere else), but as mentioned, I’ll be doing this from left to right/like in the above order for easier organizing.
Amanda: Nope, I’m here. And you too now…
• [Sweet] Would you rather I come back at another time? +5
• [Rebel] Just say it, if I’m boring you… -5
• [Energetic] Which is good, since I was looking for you! /
Amanda: You can write that down: when you need to tell a client that their choices are vulgar, say “baroque”.
• [Sweet] (I diligently took notes.) /
• [Rebel] I think that the baroque can be charming. -5
• [Energetic] Okay, cool. I’ll remember that. +5
Amanda: Where do you think I buy all of my dishes?
• [Rebel] That’s very frugal of you. -5
• [Sweet] Now that you say it, it makes sense… +5
• [Energetic] I confess that I hadn’t asked myself the question. /
• [Energetic] Can I do something to help you? /
• [Sweet] No, I don’t have any questions. That seems very solid. +5
• [Rebel] What do you think about Goldreamz? And Jason? -5
Thomas: Actually, that’s not entirely true: I’ve already hacked their system. Just as a precaution.
• [Rebel] Even if that doesn’t interest Devon, we’d be wrong not to take a look… -5
• [Energetic] You have such little trust in your own talents? +5
• [Sweet] You… You mean that you can read all their emails, their intranet? /
Brune: Nothing. Elenda is talking nonsense.
• [Sweet] (I didn’t insist. It’s none of my business…) +5 with Brune
• [Rebel] Very well, if you’re being secretive… +5 with Elenda, -5 with Brune
• [Energetic] Come on, you don’t want to tell me? +5 with Elenda
Roy: So, you’ve made it? Your dive into the deep end!
• [Energetic] At the same time, he didn’t hire me to twiddle my thumbs! +5
• [Sweet] Yes, it’s very nice of him not to leave me on the sidelines. /
• [Rebel] Yes… I would have preferred him to ask me directly if I had any ideas, but hey… -5
Roy: Chic restaurants, palaces, that’s not really my natural environment.
If you spoke to Amanda before Roy, you have these choices:
• (I suppressed a smile. Sure enough, she thought big.) /
• Yeah, I just saw her, she seems to have already planned everything. /
• Yes, I’ve already spoken with her… /
If you spoke to Roy before Amanda, you have these choices:
• And you don’t ever work on anything else? /
• At the same time, the client seems to have as much ambition as Amanda, right? /
• Yes, I was planning to go see her too. /
Roy: And word of mouth often works well, and allows me to make new, original or little-known contacts.
• [Rebel] It’s funny, I thought you’d have a much more aggressive approach. -5
• [Energetic] Cool! I hope you’ll help me meet lots of people! +5
• [Sweet] So, really, your job is to be nice? That’s cool! /
After talking to everyone (or everyone except for Elenda and Brune), you have your outfit choice! No, I don’t know why you’re changing outfits in the middle of the day (or why you had a second outfit at your job in the first place?? Or did she run home?? Who knows). This time, you have two outfits. Both cost $95 normally, but like last time, it’s 50% off your first playthrough so you can get one outfit for $47 instead.
The outfit on the left (Black/White/Red) is for Devon, Jason, and Roy. The outfit on the right (Pink and blue) is for Thomas and Amanda.
It is now time to present your report… But before you do that, you have the opportunity to get the episode’s Taki outfit! Make your way to the Break Room if you’d like to earn it. Like with Aunt Agatha, it may take multiple tries of going back and forth before Uncle Archibald shows up. Just make sure to not click Devon’s office during this process– if you start the timer, you will automatically go see him once it ends. You cannot wander during the timer, and you will miss out on the outfit then.
Archibald: Well, I’m having a break. This is a break area, after all…
• Yes, but… never mind. Are you okay? / ⬅ TAKI OUTFIT
• A break area for employees…
• If someone sees you here, I could get in trouble…
With that done, or maybe you’re just not interested in that at all, make your way to Devon’s office to give him the Summary Report! Alas, before you can actually get in, Devon shows he is on the phone and asks you to wait. You are then given a timer of 6 minutes and 10 second long to wait while Devon finishes his phone call. You can use gems to continue immediately, use a Joker to halve the time, or just wait it out. It’s up to you.
Once it’s over, you’ll automatically be brought into Devon’s office.
Devon: And what do you think? About what we do… about the mood?
• [Rebel] Seeing that you pay me… -5
• [Sweet] It’s great! It’s nice here. /
• [Energetic] I think I could get used to this! +5
It’s now illustration choice time! Keep in mind this just picks the character you hope to get the illustration with– it does not guarantee you will get it (unless you pick the right answers and have high enough LoM).
Devon: Choose the person you feel most comfortable with to help you.
• Hm… Including you? If you don’t mind… ⬅ Towards Devon’s Illustration
• Alright. Do you think Thomas would like to help me? ⬅ Towards Thomas’ Illustration
• Perfect. Do you think I can ask Amanda? ⬅ Towards Amanda’s Illustration
• Great! I’ll ask Roy if he wants to help me. ⬅ Towards Roy’s Illustration
Don’t worry if you’re hoping for Jason– he’s at the very end and can be gotten regardless of this moment.
As long as you have the right outfit and at least 10 LoM, you should be able to get the illustration with your LI of choice. While you can get the illustration without doing the special scene, you will only get the LoM-adjusting Dialogue choice if you pay for the special scene.
Once again, we’ll be going in order so…
If you asked for Devon’s Help
Devon says he is, indeed, an option as well and to take a seat. This time, you won’t be moving anywhere. You’ll just be staying in his office to work.
While you make yourself comfortable, Devon briefly parts to talk to Roy about something. It doesn’t take him long to return. He tells you that the two of you are going to work in the Break Area instead and so you automatically move on over.
As it gets late as you finish up, Devon asks if you have any way you like to rewind. Candy says she doesn’t really, so Devon explains how he likes to meditate and helps guide you a bit to meditate as well. Plus, other additional conversing.
Devon: I understand, you’d prefer to make a name for yourself in your own domain…
• [Sweet] Yes, or not even. I don’t need to make a name for myself, that’d be okay too. /
• [Rebel] Exactly: One day, people will say that you gave [Name] a leg up. -5
• [Energetic] Exactly! +5
If you asked for Thomas’ Help
You’ll find him as soon as you exit Devon’s office. After some conversing, you follow him to the break area to get to work.
Once done, Thomas suggests checking out VR to help relax. After finishing, he’ll ask what you thought.
• [Energetic] Are you kidding?! It was completely wild! +5
• [Rebel] It was okay, but I don’t think I’ll try it again any time soon. -5
• [Sweet] Yeah, it was… Really cool, like you said. /
After more conversation, you’ll both head home.
If you asked for Amanda’s Help
After exiting Devon’s office, you’ll head over to Amanda’s desk automatically. After explaining the situation, she agrees to help and the two of you head into the meeting room to work.
As you finish up, Amanda mentions that she loves to dance and suggests going for a drink at the Snake Room. You’ll automatically move over and after some dialogue, if you have the right outfit and high enough LoM you will get the illustration.
Amanda: Yeah, it’s getting late. You can go home, if you’re tired!
• [Rebel] Not without having another drink! /
• [Energetic] Are you kidding? I’m having so much fun! +5
• [Sweet] Yes, I think I’m going to do that! -5
If you asked for Roy’s Help
After exiting Devon’s office, you’ll head over to Roy’s desk automatically. You’ll explain the situation, though, he already expected as much, and suggest the two of you go over to the Cafeteria to work on it.
After working hard, Roy says how he wants to stretch his legs. He plans to go look at the ocean and invites you to come along. The two of you will automatically head outside.
You will continue walking past some familiar places in Amoris that you may recall if you played the original game.
Roy: Don’t you think?
• [Energetic] Totally! Now I can imagine a pirate ship coming in the distance. +5
• [Rebel] Yeah, I agree, like an imaginary creature from the depths.. -5
• [Sweet] I don’t know, I never really thought about it… /
Candy will wake up after some kind of unannounced time skip and it’s officially the day of finding out who gets the Contract! After a bit of summary of what we’ve missed due to the aforementioned time skip, Candy quickly makes it to the Shopping District.
Everyone slowly shows up one by one and when Thomas mentions that sometimes Devon doesn’t turn all the lights on if he’s the only one there, everyone rushes to the Office in case he’s already in.
Alas, despite rushing to his office, Devon isn’t in yet. But he is right behind you and confirms that you did, in fact, get the contract!
After some celebrating, we get another summarized time skip to quickly get to the grand opening of the restaurant.
To everyone’s surprise though, Jason is at the grand opening as well. Unfortunately, he manages to dampen things a bit by pointing out that the only reason we got the contract was because our offer was cheaper– he liked Goldreamz better overall, but it was too pricey.
Jason: You “won”, but it’s a semi-victory…
• [Rebel] I see that someone’s a sore loser. -5 with Jason
• [Energetic] It seems to me that’s still better than having lost. +5 with Jason
• [Sweet] It doesn’t matter, it’s still a win. /
• [Rebel] (I restrained myself from hurling a few colorful insults at his back.) /
• [Energetic] (And I did the same, resuming the evening with my new colleagues and friends.) /
• [Sweet] (Perhaps it’s up to me to be smarter for all of us, and hold out a hand to him.) -5 or /* with Jason ⬅ TOWARDS JASON’S ILLUSTRATION
I personally got -5 when I picked that choice on my account. Other people have reported getting neutral on it. I don’t know if Beemoov changed it and it being -5 was a mistake since both of the other two were neutral OR if maybe having a higher LoM with him made it neutral, but I’m leaving both just in case.
If you go towards Jason’s Illustration:
• (You pay for everything sooner or later… His turn will come.)
• (No way am I going to leave things there.) / ⬅ ILLUSTRATION
• (But I swallowed my pride to better focus on the evening.)
You’ll have more discussion with the illustration happening in the middle if you have all the requirements. Once it’s over, you’ll head back to your coworkers.
If you decide to ignore him, don’t go after him, or after finishing his illustration scene:
Picking up with your Coworkers, you all toast and celebrate and then the episode ends.
The main difference is if you go for Jason’s scenes, you have a small moment with your LI’s reactions/comments to that (though, not where you chase after him)– otherwise, you silently look at one another while toasting.
