With so little unlocking, I’m wondering if maybe I should just do the special villagers sooner rather than later. Maybe tomorrow could be a Special Villager stream? We’ll see. It’s been a while since my last review, hasn’t it? If you’ve been keeping up with my site, you’ll have noticed I’ve played Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer a lot–over 45 hours already and still wanting to play so much more with many goals in mind. One question I often get asked about it though is “Is the game worth it?” “Would I like it?” “Do I need these things to play?” “Is there a town? And so I want to answer several of these questions in this review along with stating my own feelings on the game.
I will state right now though, Happy Home Designer is not for everyone. I will also state that I have been enjoying the games just as much, if not more, than the main series. But yes, I think I’ve rambled enough with this introduction, so I’ll go ahead and get started with the review itself.
So, I thankfully felt a bit better later tonight so I decided to do a “short” late night stream. I ended up doing 7 houses and it was a lot of fun :D Thank you to everyone who stopped by!

It’s so nice to play again today. While I didn’t necessarily feel up to it (unfortunately feeling rather awful at the moment), I really wanted to try and earn more items for the upcoming monthly contest. Sadly, I don’t really think I did a good job doing so :(
T-Bone – A fire-filled hot spot. I ended up picking this as I really wanted a Camp Fire. Ironically, that’s about the only fire item I didn’t get.

So, to celebrate Mario’s 30th Anniversary, Louie is currently being given out through Nintendo Zones. I’m not sure how long he’ll be around so I decided to grab him while out. As for his theme, he wanted “A 30th-Anniversary Party” :P I focused less on a party and more just celebrating Mario… I think it still works.
This will probably be the last day I get to play for a long time for a few days. My main goal was to at least get all the emotions which I did so yay! Now I just want to try and do every villager’s house at least once & unlock all the items. I sadly don’t think I’ll be able to do so before the first so I just hope I do a good job with the theme regardless.
So, I was almost going to do a different house for a ballet studio (to unlock my shoes!), but as soon as I saw Daisy’s theme, I had to. She wanted a house Santa would visit (“A magnet for Santa) and I love Christmas so…
